6 Steps of Operation of Automated Robot Shuttle Rack System

Step 1: Firstly, the operating staff receives storage information for a number of pallets from their supervisor. Then, the staff determines the storage location for the pallets to ensure they are accurately stored according to their product code.

Step 2: The Robot Shuttle is moved and placed in the correct position for storing the pallets (with the assistance of a forklift).

Step 3: The operator starts the robot and uses a forklift to place the first pallet onto the Robot Shuttle.

Step 4: The control operation is performed by the operator through a tablet screen, or other wired or wireless connected devices.

Step 5: The cargo-carrying robot starts moving deeper into the system. Upon reaching its destination, the robot places the pallet down and returns to its initial position to await instructions for the next pallet entry.

Step 6: The process of placing the next pallet onto the robot is continuously performed until a storage compartment is filled, or the required number of pallets have been processed.

* Note: You can use a forklift to move the robot to another storage location within the system, to continue the goods handling process. If your warehouse rack system is too large and equipped with only one robot, it may be a good time to consider adding additional robots.
